This items are bought with tokens like Badges of Justice, the Emblems of Heroism, and Stone Keeper’s Shards, which are attained by killing any dungeon boss in Northrend while your faction controls Wintergrasp. They bind on account and are interchangeable between any character of that account but not to anyone else's. This item's stats are the level 80 ones, since this special Heirlooms (the new item rarity created specifically to this purpose) scale with your level (Each time you gain levels it's stats increase). The enchants you can apply on them are the level 1 ILevel ones.

If a special situatin on the kind of armor it displays happens (example: Warriors wear mail 1-39 plate 40-80), the item 'transforms' into the new armor proficiency when you reach the required level. In adiction, the shoulderparts will increase the experience you gain by 10%. It may sound like 'meh. 100 exp becomes 110, big deal', but actually those 10%+exp will make the difference on you leveling's speed.

I'm quite fond of that +10% XP. It lacks spirit, which its emblem of heroism version has, though myself, saving for items for my main character, well. Of course, it looks like primarily a PvP item and that doesn't worry me as stamina isn't a bad idea.

Regardless, I'm still considering just waiting until I can afford the ones with spirit on them. (correct me if I'm wrong) Now that it also increases your XP from quest also (similar mechanic as in recruit-a-friend XP boost), heirloom shoulder item is a MUST for any 80 lving a toon. No wonder I seem to notice a huge easiness in lvling. (My lock graduated Hellfire Peninsula at mid lvl 65. Even though there was rested XP involved, this is a major upgrade. My main paladin, who went through Instances a lot, graduated Hellfire at about lvl 64).

I mailed the shoulders to my level 10 Warlock; the enchant did not disappear, it turned red and text below it appeared to say, 'Enchantment requires Level 64' My priest is also a scribe, and I was unable to put the inscription enchants on it though. Edit: Not sure why you would downrate information that is correct that is not in any of the other comments, you CAN put this Scyrer enchant on the shoulders, contrary to what else is said in the comments. For example 2 X 3 = 3 X 2. In the same way, it does not matter what order the experience bonuses are applied.

They will result in the same overall experience gained. Let's say you kill a mob that gives 200 XP. If the rested bonus was applied to an experience gain before the BoA bonus, you would get 200 + 100% or 200. 2 =400 XP to which you would then add 10%: 400 + 10% or 400. 1.1 = 440 XP. If the BoA bonus is apllied first, you would get 200 + 10% or 200. 1.1 = 220 XP Adding the rested bonus would result in: 220 + 100% or 220.

2 = 440XP While you are getting bonus experience from a Refer-A-Friend, your Rested experience is not used, so if you are receiving bonus experience from RaF and BoA bonuses, the equation would be: Base Exp. 1.1. 3 which is the same as Base Exp. 3. 1.1 Even if both RaF and Rested were applied at the same time, the order of the bonuses would not affect the outcome. It might be a lenghtly explanation, but people didn't appear to be grasping what czokalapik was saying.

Furthermore I was able to apply it to BOA shoulders and mail them to an alt. The alt has neutral rep with Argent Dawn and the enchant was active at level 50. I do however acknowledge reports on Wowhead that this is not true for all players, I believe it depends when you acquired Argent Dawn rep and which quests you had completed. If this doesnt work for you you'll have to wait for shoulder enchants available at later levels.

Комментарий от malystryx If you're curious as to how this item scales down with your character's level (for purposes of twinking or general curiosity), you can use the LINK button at the top of this item page to link the item in-game: the WoW client will automatically scale the item stats down to your character's level for you. This works with all the other Heirloom items as well. Steps in case you are unfamiliar with how to use Wowhead item links:. Click the link button above, there will be a popup window with some automatically highlighted text. Copy the text (Windows: Ctrl-C, Mac: Cmd-C) and close the popup window. Open (or switch to) WoW and press Enter to open up your chat dialog. Paste the code into the box (Windows: Ctrl-V, Mac: Cmd-V) and press Enter.

A message in white text will appear in your chat log followed by an item link. You can click this link to view the details and can Ctrl-click it to view it on your character. However, there are still limits on what you can provide for your twink. If the Enchant or Enhancement would be applied to a Level 1 item without binding it (eg +1 Ag), it can stay there as long as you like. If it would have made the item Soulbound (eg Aldor shoulder enchant), or can only be applied to that character's item (eg Runeforging), it will be removed in the mail between characters, resetting the item to its original condition.

If you have a rogue for example, don't wanna spend on another heirloom for the 10% XP bonus and don't care about armor type, this item suits him more as he'll be using everything other than the +SP part.

For your item, 3 stats are useless to him. This is generally true for any class you want to level, unless all your alts are gonna be casters for PVE. Edit: paragraph. Комментарий от zolyisback As I see it these will be pretty much pointless to get, not only the weapons but all the items. They'll be useful at 81 just like the other level 85 capped heirlooms, then you can just buy the 82-83 mop greens that are vastly superior and will have you tearing through quests like mad to 85. I'd say just take the time you'd take on farming the JP and/or Honor for the desired looms and use that to farm on a main for more than enough money to buy the mop greens and you'll be much better set and get much faster experience gain through brute force of overwhelming next-expansion stats.
